If you feel bloated or tired...try this

Dr. Gundry, a leading nutrition researcher, has made a surprising discovery that could be life-changing for middle-aged and older Americans.

He found an "anti-nutrient" widespread in American food that often causes digestive, energy, and weight problems, rather than just "age."

Fortunately, after working with thousands of patients, Dr. Gundry discovered one food that can block your body from absorbing this harmful compound.

Hey everyone, it’s Ling Ling from Slim Secrets. Today, I want to share my personal journey with water fasting and shed light on the crucial differences between healthy fasting and dangerous starvation. Recently, I completed an 8-day water fast with a 4-day break in between, aiming to detox and change my attitude towards food. The results were phenomenal! My mind became clear, my productivity soared, and I lost 5kg of body fat. However, it's vital to understand when fasting can turn into starvation and how to recognize the signs.

What is Water Fasting?

Water fasting is a practice where you consume only water for a set period, typically ranging from 24 hours to several days. The primary goal is detoxification, mental clarity, and resetting one's relationship with food. During a water fast, your body goes through several stages of energy usage, eventually entering ketosis, where fat is used as the primary energy source. This process can lead to significant health benefits if done correctly and under proper supervision.

My Water Fasting Experience

Recently, I did my first water fast for 8 days with a 4-day break in between. The intention was to detox and change my attitude and addiction towards food. The results for me personally were phenomenal. My mind became so clear, my productivity at work shot up, and I lost 5kg of body fat. The weight loss slowed after the first 4 days, but I kept going after my break until I felt ready to end the fast.

After my fast, my relationship with food completely changed for the better. Fruits and vegetables have become my staple food, and I cannot even bring myself to eat junk food. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who is not underweight and is not suffering from mental illnesses or eating disorders.

Understanding Starvation

Starvation occurs when the body doesn't receive adequate food over an extended period, leading to severe health consequences. Unlike water fasting, which is controlled and intentional, starvation is typically unplanned and results in the body exhausting its energy reserves and essential nutrients.

If you don't eat for a week, your body will go into a state of starvation. Here are some of the effects that can occur:

📐Energy Depletion: Without food, your body will start to deplete its energy stores. Initially, it will use up the glucose stored in your liver and muscles. After that, it will break down muscle tissue to provide energy.

📐Weight Loss: During the first few days without food, you may experience rapid weight loss due to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. After that, the weight loss will slow down to an average of 0.3 kilograms (0.7 pounds) per day.

📐Muscle Breakdown: As your body continues to lack energy from food, it will start breaking down muscle tissue for fuel. This can lead to muscle wasting and weakness.

📐Ketosis: After a few days without food, your body will enter a state of ketosis. It will start using fat stores to create ketones for energy. This is a survival mechanism to conserve muscle mass.

📐Nutrient Deficiencies: Without food, your body will not receive essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and proteins. This can lead to various nutrient deficiencies and impair the functioning of your body systems.

📐Weakened Immune System: Prolonged starvation weakens the immune system, making you more susceptible to infections and illnesses.

📐Organ Damage: Starvation can cause damage to your organs, including the heart, liver, and kidneys. It can also lead to electrolyte imbalances and fluid retention.

📐Psychological Effects: The physical effects of starvation can also have psychological consequences. You may experience mood changes, irritability, difficulty concentrating, and feelings of depression.
